About the event

To celebrate Latin Heritage Month and our cultural diversity, the Latin American Organization for Literature and the Arts Foundation, (LaOla, Inc.) and Terraza 7, are pleased to invite you to Lecturas Compartidas: a Shared Reading at Terraza 7: 40-19 Gleane Street, Jackson Heights, NY, on October 17 at 5:30 pm.

We will have the presence of the writer Miguel Falquez-Certain poet and fictional writer born in Barranquilla, Colombia, lives and writes in New York, who will share with the audience a fragment of his novel La fugacidad del instante, published in October 2020, by Escarabajo publishing house from Bogotá, Colombia.

Juana Ramos, poet and fictional writer, was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, lives in New York. Her most recent book is entitled Sin ambages / To the Point (2020). She is co-author of the book of testimonies Tomamos la palabra: Mujeres en la guerra civil de El Salvador  (1980-1992), published in 2016.

Ernesto Espinoza, alias ERES, is a Mexican-American poet born in New York. In 2011, he published his collection of poems El momento justo, el tiempo crítico.

Margarita Drago, poet and fictional writer, born in Rosario, Argentina, lives in New York. Among her books of poetry are Sé vuelo, Un gato de ojos grandes me mira fijamente. She is the co-author of Tomamos la palabra: Mujeres en la guerra civil de El Salvador (1980-1992), published in 2016.

The presentation of these authors will be in charge of the Director of LaOla Inc., Anneli Marceles.
